Literature Text

Once upon a time,
As generic as any other,
There was this boy
With boy hair
With boy eyes
With boy ish hands
And a bright, white smile
In bright, white undies
And a indescribable jacket
With an indescribable scent
Who gave me indescribable feelings
A heart beating fast,
A face glowing red,
Like my favorite generic pop song
Stuck on repeat

I know you understand the feeling
We all feel
Hold on tight,
Before it gets surreal
My teacher criticized me for my vagueness in my writing and for once I actually felt really torn as a writer. In one respect, the criticism is helpful and good natured. In the other, vagueness is my talent and I feel like it creates a special, obtuse flow that suits my voice.
I guess I felt really challenged for once. I want to be obtuse and vague, but I also want to be a good, understood writer. I'm not sure how to deal with this, but to write more vague poetry.
